English & Welsh Building Regulations Part L2 - Section 3 - Building Log Books
Since April 2002 it has been a duty of the English and Welsh Building Regulations Approved Document L2 for the proprietor or inhabitant of a structure to be provided near a Log-book upon fulfilment of any industrial plant associated to the vigour uptake of the structure. This may be a new building, the installing of new reservoir factory or new windows. Subsequent amendments to the Building Regulations have strengthened the requirements.
